Highlights Not to Be Missed:
Itinerary Details:
8:30 AM: Begin with a pick-up from your hotel and head to the serene Tran Quoc Pagoda, beautifully positioned by West Lake. Following that, visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum—his final resting place—and his stilt house, where he resided intermittently from 1958 to 1969. Next, explore the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, a unique architectural site featuring a pagoda atop a single pillar, surrounded by a square lotus pond. Proceed to the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam, dedicated to Confucius. A quick stop at the famous Hanoi train street offers a great photo opportunity.
Lunch: Savor authentic Hanoi cuisine at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Choose to explore one of Hanoi’s top museums, such as the History Museum, Ethnology Museum, or Hoa Lo Prison (once infamously known as the “Hanoi Hilton”). Continue to Hoan Kiem Lake in the city center for some relaxation. Afterward, embark on a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter, a vibrant network of 36 ancient streets, each bustling with small businesses and local vendors. This area offers endless photo opportunities and a deep dive into the local culture.
Optional: In the late afternoon, enjoy an hour-long traditional Water Puppet Show, a unique art form of Vietnam, or opt for the spectacular Ionah Circus Show before wrapping up the tour back at your hotel.
