Next: Head to Bat Trang Ceramic Village, one of Vietnam’s oldest and most famous pottery villages with a history spanning nearly 1,000 years. Discover the commercialized side focusing on glazed ceramics and the riverside ‘ancient’ village specializing in earthenware and pottery. Visit a family-run factory to observe skilled artisans creating and decorating pottery, and even try your hand at shaping wet clay.

Afternoon: Continue to Dong Ho Village, known for its traditional folk paintings. Witness the creation of these unique woodblock prints, which are handmade on Dzo tree paper using natural colors and finished with oyster shell dust.
